Document concerning the founding of three missions in Alta California, 1781.

Document concerning the founding of Santa Barbara, La Purisima Concepcion and San Buenaventura, missions in Alta California, by order of the Viceroy, to be placed under the administration of the Colegio Apostolico de San Fernando. The report notes that the missionaries were to be sent from San Blas, but their frigate had not arrived, and the missionaries would be forced to travel overland.
